With the concerted efforts of all colleagues, we have accomplished targets in various aspects over the last year.
In medical service, we promoted, at full steam, the global budget system, helped medical institutions
monitoring the point value together, established various indexes to maintain medical quality for citizens and checked violations of medical institutions in order to eliminate waste of medical resources; we promoted the Integrated Delivery System (IDS) to improve the proximity of medical attention for citizens living in remote areas in order to maintain the rights and benefits of medical care of the public.
In concern for the weaker social groups, we visited indigenous people in remote areas to help them be covered under the NHI and to look for those who have not yet been covered under the NHI with the assistance of charity groups in order to enhance the NHI coverage rate. In addition to various aid policies, we helped those who have financial problems to solve the premium problem.
In this fiscal year, the NHIED will continue to promote various quality services according to the BNHI concepts: to cohere social understanding, to ensure the right to enjoy medical services, to enhance service quality, and to promote international exchange, in order to promote an all-win situation for citizens in the eastern region, the BNHI and medical institutions, and thereby realize the vision of “all-out participation, sustainable NHI” |
