Priority guidance for payment by installment applications and NHI Relief Fund Loans applications, or priority assistance to transfer to relevant social welfare groups will be given to the insured having financial difficulties in paying the NHI premiums or relevant fees.

The insured in need of emergency medical services or indebted to pay the insurance and other fees due to special economic problems may apply for the Love Referral services to the NHIED. The NHIED shall handle these cases according to the Rules for Love Referral Management to protect their benefits in seeking medical services.
